About Us

Elijah and Susannah Bristow

Pleasant Hill Cemetery has served Lane County and the surrounding areas for over 170 years.

In 1853, pioneers Elijah and Susannah Bristow donated 2 acres of land from their 640 acre land donation claim to establish Pleasant Hill’s first cemetery. They also established Pleasant Hill’s first church and donated the land for the town’s first school.

We work hard to keep plots accessible and affordable for the community. For options and pricing, please see our Services page. The grounds are peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We embrace the beautiful natural landscape, and you may see grass, trees, wild flowers, and other wildlife during your visit.

Pleasant Hill Cemetery is managed & maintained by the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association. Donations help us maintain the historical grounds and continue to offer affordable services for the community. Checks can be mailed to: P.O. Box 902 Pleasant Hill, OR 97455
